The UKFamily Website

UKFamily was a ground-breaking family website which fully combined and integrated moderated community contributions (UGC) with editorial content. The content, both editorial and UGC, was entirely driven by personalisation attributes, meaning that every page served the content that was most relevant to each specific user.

First Class Search

By pushing the boundaries of Atomz and adding bespoke cloud tag word-matching and postcode lookups, we produced context-sensitive search results which mixed-and-matched editorial articles with user-generated content and presented personalised results together with user ratings and article images.

Types of UGC

Users and editors could share stories, images and videos, tips and lists, take part in forums, suggest new topics and create comprehensive profiles describing themselves and their children along with favourite tips and websites. Naturally, it was possible to rate, comment and add to every page.
