With the dawn of the smartphone and tablets together with all-you-can-eat data plans – an increasing amount of your customers' interactions with your brand are originating from a smartphone or tablet. Customers are expecting or demanding that all the information and tools available online on a computer is also available to them on the move. Modern smartphones and tablets are amazingly good at rendering full-blown websites on tiny devices, but the user experience is far from ideal without a dedicated mobile application.

The touch screen interface is fundamentally different from the traditional mouse clicking (not to mention that some devices simply refuse to support flash and some struggles with standard HTML elements like iframes). The tiny viewport and the ways the customer can navigate and enter content calls for a special design and user interface. At the same time, the smartphone or tablet provides additional tools like built-in GPS, high-quality cameras and the ability to send and receive SMS that the customer is used to and typically very happy to use when interacting with brands.

SPIKA has been working with mobile consumer interactions since the dawn of the premium rate SMS. The last 10 years have seen us deliver projects within:
